Actors sometimes say how valuable it is when a director is also an actor. The same is true of an editor who is also a writer. The ability to join authors in the worlds they’ve created comes from my own pleasure in inventing stories as well as my love of reading. Laura Geringer Books grew not from my ambition to have my own imprint but from following the calling to write and to be with writers in a meaningful exchange.
